Appointment System

Our practice has a total triage model and ensures that every request for health care will be reviewed and either provide our patients with an appointment or advice to treat your ailment.

Part of our triage process may be that we advise you of a number of healthcare providers who may be able to help you, this may be a local pharmacy, Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Nurse.   This helps us best utilise the time of our staff and ensure that the patients with the most urgent need are seen in a timely manner.

Patients can request appointments via our E-consult form during the hours of 07.30-16:00 hours (urgent and routine appointments).

Patients can also access appointments using their NHS app during the hours of 08:00-18:30

Ater 16:00 we can only accept non-urgent requests, prescription requests and admin queries via the NHS app allowing for patients to access appointments online during core working hours.   All urgent requests after 16:00 hours must be made via phone to the practice receptionist.

For all requests received before 18:30 we aim to respond within 24 hours.

You can call our reception staff at any time who will support you to complete the necessary forms and submit your requests.

Please call the practice on 0121 472 0016

We ask that you complete the appropraite form out and that all questions are answered honestly, this will ensure that we are able to book you at the appropriate time and with the correct person to support you.  Please note that our reception team will no longer be allocating appointments.   Appointments will be allocated once your econult request has been triaged by a member of our clinical team.   We aim to respond to all requests the same day when submitted before 4pm Monday to Friday.

An appointment to see a doctor will usually be for 10 minutes or 15 minutes if you're seeing the practice nurse. If you feel more time will be needed please inform reception when booking. Please bear in mind that an appointment is for one person and the time allotted is to help with a single medical condition.  Whenever we can we will always try and allocate you to the clinician of your choice however this might not always be possible especially in respect of same day appointments.
